Firecracker Shake
YIELD: 2 milkshakes
INGREDIENTS:
1 c. White Chocolate Morsels
1/4 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
4 drops Red Food Coloring
2 c. Vanilla Ice Cream
1 c. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 drops Blue Food Coloring
4 tbsp. Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping or Barista Series Sweet Foam
Red and Blue Popping Candy, optional
DIRECTIONS:
In microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate and cream. Microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring after each, until completely smooth. Let cool slightly before stirring in red food coloring, adjusting amount to reach desired color. Let cool further and pour into squeeze bottle. Squeeze into the insides of two serving glasses, creating stripes that start a quarter of the way down the glass. Put prepared glasses into the freezer while you make the milkshake.
In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, and vanilla; blend until smooth. Pour into each glass up to the top of the red stripes, reserving about ¼ of the milkshake. Add blue food coloring and blend again until completely mixed, adding more food coloring as needed to reach desired color. Carefully spoon into the glasses to top off.
Garnish with Reddi Wip and popping candy. Serve immediately.
TIPS: Use a resealable bag with a small corner cut off as a substitute for a squeeze bottle. Allow chocolate mix to cool for 15 minutes before transferring into plastic bag.
